Psilocybin and the Healing of the Human Spirit with Jahan Khamsehzadeh Ph.D

This weeks guest is Jahan Khamsehzadeh Ph.D, author of the new book, 'The Psilocybin Connection: Psychedelics, the Transformation of Consciousness, and Evolution of the Planet - An Integral Approach' releasing Spring of 2022. Jahan completed his dissertation on psychedelics in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. He's earned his masters in Consciousness and Transformative Studies from John F. Kennedy University and has gone on to train within the Mazatec mushroom tradition. He is currently working as a facilitator for legal psilocybin mushroom ceremonies in Jamaica with Atman Retreats. In this episode we talk about all things psychedelic mushrooms, from their rich history of coevolving with humans to our current expansion into using them as therapeutic medicines.
